Information/Procedures
In order for us to adequately build on the faith values that you share with our children at home, we ask that you read this form in its entirety and call us if you have any questions or concerns about our religious education program.
We are aware that our program may be a new experience to some of you and to that we extend a special Welcome! We need everyone's help to make this a meaningful program for the students and therefore it is important that we all do our part to make it successful.
General Information
- Children must be re-registered each year to remain in our program.
- Each completed application will be given preference based on date and time received.
- Religious Education Catechists have priority, whenever possible, for placement of their child(ren)'s classes.
- Parent handbooks/calendar will be available in late July on the website.
- Baptismal certificates are required for each newly (first time) registered student.
**What is needed for Registration?
a) Registration form completed for each child (one form per child); Download here.
c) Payment – Note: Anyone experiencing financial difficulties, should still register & contact the RE office.
**When does Registration begin?
- Registration begins immediately. The deadline for registrations to be returned is May 31st.
- Registrations received after the deadline will be placed on home taught status.
There will be NO exceptions!
**What is the tuition cost?
$125.00 for one (1) child; $150 for two (2) or more children
Note: Tuition is $150 for one and $175.00 for two or more children when registering after 5/31/11
Tuition for qualified teachers (have completed background check and attended one (1) three hour sessions of “Protecting God's Children” [VIRTUS]), committing to teach are entitled to a 50% discount off the above schedule. Tuition is waived if you teach two (2) or more classes or are a Formation Level Coordinator.
Your child's faith formation ultimately depends on the sharing of your faith with them by going to Mass on Sundays and living Christian values at home. It is through your efforts and example, more than anything else, that your children will come to know Jesus and grow in their faith. We thank you for allowing us to help you in this process.
